Hope you like my process

=======================

Formula to be used

=> H = ut + ½gt²

=> V = √(u²+2gH)

where

H = height

g = gravity (10 m/s²)

u = initial velocity

V = final velocity

t = Time taken

_____________________

Given :-

=> g = 10 m/s²

=> u = 0 m/s. [ since its free fall i.e.  without any external force]

=> t = 1 sec

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

Now

=> Height of table = H = ut + ½ gt²

= 0 + ½ × 10 × 1² = 5 metre

=> Velocity ( speed) reaching the ground

= V = √(u² + 2gH) = √(0 + 2×10×5)

= √(10×10) = 10 m/s

_______________________

So. the required answers are

=> Height of table (H) = 5 m

=> Speed reaching ground (V) = 10 m/s

Hope this is your required answer

ANSWER :

____________________

Formula : H = ut + ½ gt²
V = √(u²+2gH)

_____________________

Given :

» g = 10 m/s ²

» u = 0 m/s ²

» t = 1 s

_____________________

Now,

» HEIGHT OF TABLE :

» H = ut + ½ gt²

= 0 + ½ + 10 × 1² = 5 m

_____________________

» Speed reaching the ground :

= S = √(u² + 2gH) = √(0 + 2 × 10 × 5)

= √(10 × 10) = 10 m/s

_____________________

» Height of the table = 5m

» speed reaching ground = 10 m/s
