since
h= ut+1/2gt^2
here after evaluating we get h = 5
and knowing that
speed = distance/time
we get= 5/1
from here we get s = 5m/s

Answer:

speed on reaching the ground = 10 m/s

height of table = 5 m

Explanation:

Given,

time taken by ball to reach to the ground= 1 s

acceleration due to gravity= 10 m/s²

We have to calculate the speed of the ball on reaching the ground and height of the ball.

So, from newton's law of motion

v = u + gt

  = 0 + (10)(1) m/s

  = 10 m/s

now, to find height of the table we will apply the formula

h\ =\ ut\ +\ \dfrac{1}{2} gt^2

  =\ (0)(1)\ +\ \dfrac{1}{2}(10)(1)^2

     =\ 5\ m

Hence, the speed of ball after reaching the ground will be 10 m/s and height of table will be 5 m.
