Let the table be at a height h.

Time taken by ball to reach ground

√(2h/g) =1

Squaring both sides

2h/g=1

2h=10

h=5 m

Speed =√(2gh)

Put the value and get the answer.

u=0m/s

time=1sec

a=10m/s^2

s i.e. h=?

speed=?

s=ut+1/2at^2

s=0*1+1/2*10*1*1

height of the table =5metre

speed =dis/time

=5/1

=5m/s

speed=5m/s
