A ball fired from land to water . at a height of 9.1 m Component liver SPEED ball direction, x is 7.6 m / s and careful Directions y is 6.1 m / s . IF gravitational acceleration g = 9.8 m / s ² , the maximum elevation What can be achieved with more or less equal balls ....

Initial height  = h1 = 9.1 m
Horizontal component of velocity = ux = 7.6 m/s
vertical velocity component = uy = 6.1 m/s
g = 9.8 m/s^2

additional height the ball will fly = h2 = uy^2 / 2g = 1.898 m
         we use    s = (v^2 - u^2 ) / 2a   formula.

So total height = h1 + h2 = 10.998 m  = 11 m nearly

adamsyakir: good ,thank yo sir! :D
adamsyakir: Sir,if i use it :
adamsyakir: vty²=voy²-2gh
6,1²=vo²-2.(9,8).(9,1)
37,2=vo²-178,4
voy²=215,5
voy =√215,5
------=14,68 m/s----,So
vty²=voy²-2gh
0 =voy²-2gh
2gh=voy²
h=voy²
2g
=(14,68)²
2.(9,8)
=215,5
19,6
=10,99 m
=11 m
be yes sir?
kvnmurty: Dont understand this series of calculations... U r making it complicated....
kvnmurty: just one line answer to this question....
kvnmurty: 9.1 m + (6.1^2/2*9.8) m = 11 m
adamsyakir: yes sir , I taught always like that , he said that I could analyze more deeply formula : D
