Given
Velocity of the first ball = v0
Mass of the first ball = m
Mass of the second ball = 4m

To find
Velocity of the second ball = ?

Formula used :-
1) Momentum (P) = Mass (m) * Velocity (v)

Solution

According to the law of conservation of momentum

v0 * m = 4m * Velocity of the second ball after collision
Therefore,
Velocity of the second ball after collision = m*v0/4m = v0/4 = 1/4*v0 = 0.25 v0

Hope this helps you !
