A ball hits a ball horizontal at 6m/s it rebounds horizontal at 4 4m/s.the ball is in contact eith wall for 0.040s what is acceleration of ball

Initial velocity u=6m/s

Final velocity v=-4.4 m/s(since motion is in opposite direction)

Time t=0.040 sec

Now acceleration a=(v-u)/t=(-4.4-6)/0.040=-260 m/sec ^2
