Explanation:

Let V1 be the velocity before hitting the wall

V1=+30

Rebound Velocity

V2=-30

Change in Velocity =V1-V2

=30-(-30)

30+30=60m/s

Given,

Velocity=30m/s → Initial Velocity (u)

Rebounded Velocity= -30m/s → Final Velocity (v)

Time=1s

We know that,

  • Rate of change of Velocity is called "Acceleration" (a)
  • SI Unit of (a) is "m/s²"

a = (v-u)/t

a = (-30-30)/1s

a = -60m/s²
