Though the ball is an inexpensive thing and easily available.

But while playing with it every time it became our most loved one and if it get lost we feel a bit sad in our as it was our most dearest one.

Answer:It doesn't matter whether the thing is expensive or not. The boy in the BALL POEM,is sad because he had a lot of affection for that ball which he didn't wanna lose.

Explanation:In real life, when you lose something, that you love or that thing that's very close to you, you feel tremendous loss. The same thing is happening with the boy here. He loved that ball and losing it broke his heart and that is why, he is sad.
