A ball is dropped freely from a height and reaches to ground in 3 seconds g=10ms² find:
(i) the height from where ball was dropped.
(ii)the velocity of ball at the time of hitting the ground.​

height=45m, velocity of ball at the time of hitting the ground=30m/s

Given,

Initial velocity= 0m/s

time=3s

g=10m/

.

i) H= ut+1/2gt²

= 0*1+1/2*10*9

= 45m

ii) Now,

-u²=2gh

-0²=2*10*45

= 900

v=900=30m/s

So, the velocity of ball at the time of hitting the ground=30m/s
