s=ut+ 1÷2 gt ^2

60=−7t + 1÷2 10t^2

t= 7±root 49 + 4 × 5 × 60÷2 x 5

t=7 ± 35.34 ÷ 10

Taking +ve sign then we get

t=7 ± 35.34 ÷10

=4.2s

Thus, the ball will take time in reaching the ground is:4.2s
