The acceleration of ball will remain constant and equal to acceleration due to gravity (g).
However, velocity will increase with time and finally become zero on coming in contact with ground.
Hope it helps ya:))

A ball is dropped from a building. After leaving the hand, the acceleration of the ball :
a. remains constant.
- When the ball is dropped from the building, The only force acting upon the ball is the gravitational force.
- And thus the ball is having a free fall.
- In the case of free fall, the acceleration of the object(here ball) will remain constant having the value –9.8 m/s² which is equal to the gravitational acceleration.
- The negative sign in –9.8 m/s² shows that the motion is downwards.
