A ball is dropped from a building of 10m, it reaches ground after 20seconds. Find the final velocity​

Time = 20 s

Using Second equation of motion, we get -

s=ut + \frac{1}{2}at²

10 = 20u + \frac{1}{2} (10)(10)²

20u = 10 - \frac{1}{2} (10)³

u = -24.5     (- sign because it is in opposite direction)

thus the final velocity is 24.5 m/s
