According to the Question,

Height = (h) m.

Time = (n)s

let the distance travelled be 'd'.

Then by second law,

S = ut + ½at²

= 0t + ½v/t × t² (where u=0,ball is dropped from a point)

= 0 + ½vt

= ½ vn units.

yukon11: im sorry but second equation of motion is s=ut+1/2at^2
Swayam2049: hmm.
yukon11: then what will be the correct answer
Swayam2049: same

s = ut + at {}^{2}  \times \frac{1}{2}

Now,t=n sec.

u=0(because it was at rest)

Now

s=an

s = an {}^{2} \times \frac{1}{2}
