The ball will travel 10 feet before first bounce .
then it will travel 5 feet after a bounce.
then 2.5 feet and so on...
It will bounce infinite times,
The summation of distance traveled is
10 + 10/2 + 10/4 +...
It forms a G.P. with common ratio 1/2.
So the summation of infinite terms
S_∞ = 10/(1-1/2)
S_∞ =20 metres
