Answer:

0.5 sec

Explanation:

Time taken to cover 1 metre by upgoing ball = 20m/(20m/s)

=1s

Both are covering same distance, hence they will meet each other at the 20/2= 10 metre

Time =10/20 =1/2 sec

Answer:

1 sec

Explanation:

let the distance

for collison be = 20-x

20- x = ut + 1/2 gt²*

as u = 0

0+1/2gt² eq 1

x = ut + 1/2 gt ²

u = 20

20t + 1/2 gt² eq 2

adding eq 1 and 2

20 - x + x = 1/ 2gt ² + 20t - 1/2 gt ²

t = 20/20 =1

t = 1 sec
