a ball is dropped from a height of 4.2 meters. to what height will it rise if there is no loss of KE after rebounding?

Answer:

There is no loss of energy. All of its potential energy would be converted to K.E. Since there is no loss of energy , all of its K.E. would get converted to P.E. again and hence both P.E. ( before dropping and after rebounding) would be equal giving equal height.
