Answer:

using third equation of motion:-

v^2 - u^2 = 2gh

since body is falling freely

  • u = 0
  • hence, v^2 =2gh

v =  \sqrt{2gh \:  =  \sqrt{2 \times 9.8 \times 5 } }

 =   \sqrt{98}

= 9.9 m/s

mass is not required

here,

h = 5m , r = 0 , v = ?

a = g = 9.3m

According to third law of motion

v² - u² = gh

given h = 5m

here ball is falling freely,

Therefore, u = 0

hence v² = 2gh

= √ 2 × 9.8 × 5

=√ 98

= 9.9m/s

Hence , Mass is not required
