First Ball, u = 0, s=h, a=g, t = t₁

Substituting these values in S = ut + 1/2at²

=> h = 0 + 1.2 $gt^{2} _{1}$

∴ t₁ = √2h/g
-> Second Ball, $u_{x} =u (say), u_y=0, a_y=g, S_y=h, t=t_2$

Substituting these values in

= $S_y=u_yt+\frac{1}{2} a_yt^2, h=0+\frac{1}{2} gt^2_2$

∴ $t_2=\sqrt{\frac{2h}{g} }$

From $t_1$ and $t_2$,
