We know that h=10 metre
Time of fall = (√2hg)/g
Final velocity= √2hg
[Equations of motion under gravity since the body is freely falling initial velocity is considered to be Zero]
Time of fall = [√(2*10*10)]/10 = 10√2/10 = √2 sec = 1.414 sec(approx.)
Final Velocity = √(2*10*10) = √200 = 10√2 m/sec = 14.142m/sec(approx.)
