A ball is dropped from the same height, first in air and then in water. In which case would it fall faster and why?

The ball would fall fast in air than that in water because of denstiy of water is more than that of air and thus the buoyancy force exerted by air is less than that exerted by water so as the opposing force is much high in water the ball falls faster in air than in water
