A ball is dropped from the top of a height 80m at the same time another ball is projected horizontally from the tower . find the time taken by both the balls to reach the ground

Both the balls will take same time to reach the tower.
t =  \sqrt{ \frac{2 \times h}{g} }
Using the above formula
t =  \sqrt{ \frac{2 \times 80}{10} }
Therefore time taken is equal to 4 seconds

Both the balls will take the same time to reach the ground as the time of fall is decided by the velocity along the y acis of motion which is zero in both the cases.
