A ball is dropped on a floor from a height 20m. Every time the ball rebounds, its speed after collision becomes 0.8 times of its speed before collision. Then, the average speed of the ball until it comes to rest is ___________ m/s. [Take g=10 ]

v₁=√2gh1 = √2×10×20 =20m/s          

v₂ =√2gh2 = √2×10×10 =10 √2m/s (opposite)

Now here change in velocity,

ㅿv= v₂-v₁= 10 \sqrt{2} -(-20)

= 14.1 + 20 =34.1 m/s (upward)

a= \frac{Δv}{Δt}= 34.1/0.1 = 341m/s^{2} (upward)
