A ball is gently dropped from a height of 20m if its velocity increases uniformly at the rate of 10 ms^-2 , with that velocity with what velocity will it strike the ground? after what time will it strike the ground?

here, U (initial velocity)= 0

V ^2 = U ^2 + 2as

= 0 + 2*10*20

= 400

V = √400 = 20 m/s ans.

Now,
V = u + at

20 = 0 + 10 t

20 = 10t

20/10 = t

t = 2 seconds..
