\boxed {\underline  {\mathbb {FINAL\:ANSWER:-}}}

height=180\:meters

\boxed {\underline  {\mathbb {TO\:FIND:-}}}

the maximum height

\boxed {\underline  {\mathbb {GIVEN:-}}}

  • u(initial velocity)=60m/s
  • v(final velocity)=0m/s
  • g(acceleration due to gravity)=10m/s

\boxed {\underline  {\mathbb {FORMULA\:USED:-}}}

v^{2}=u^{2}+2gh

\boxed {\underline  {\mathbb {SOLUTION:-}}}

Ball is vertically kicked upward (u) =60m/s

As we know that ball get stopped for some milliseconds in air i.e. (v) =0m/s

By using formula v^{2}=u^{2}+2gh

[← putted values in equation]

20h=3600\\h=\frac{3600}{20}\\h=180m

⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔⇔

[ most important thing:- when the ball is kicked for the first time than it could gain the highest possible height(h) it could achieve , but when the  ball falls back than some of it’s momentum/ energy get reduced and can’t achieve the height that ball had achieves for the first time. Hence we will find h for the first time only. ]
