A ball is moving with a velocity 36 m/s it is getting retardation of 10 M/s square continuously. What is the distance travelled by the ball in 3 to 3.6 second?

we are given,

a = -10m/s^2

v = 36 m/s

Hence, distance travelled in 3 secs.

s = ut + 1at^2/2

s = 36(3) - 10*(3)^2/2

s = 36*3 - 45

s = 63 m

Distance, Travelled in 3.6 secs

s = ut + 1at^2/2

s = 36(3) - 10*(3.6)^2/2

s = 43.2 s

Hence, Distance travelled by the ball in

3 to 3.6 sec = 19.8 m
