A ball is projected from a tower with a height of 12m with a speed of 2m/s in a horizontal direction. How do you find the horizontal displacement of the ball before it strikes the ground?​

Answer:

Let the horizontal displacement be d

And vertical height(height of tower) be a=12m

Use formula

Y=(g×a^2)/(2u^2)……......(gravity(g)=10ms^-2)

(initial velocity(u)=2m/s)

d=(10×12×12)/2×4

d=1440/8

d=180m
