'we have equation of motion
y_final= y_initial +ut-(1/2)gt^2
(Taking g=10m/s^2)
-70=0+25t-5t^2
-14=5t-t^2
t^2–5t-14=0
Solving this gives t=7 s t=-2s. Since time is greater than 0, we discard negative solution .
So it will take 7 sec (approx, because we have used approximate value of g) to reach the ground.
