Let the initial velocity be = u

SO,

v = u+at

0 = 20 - 10*t

0 = 20 - 10t

10t = 20

t = 2s

v² = u²+2as

0² = 400 + 2 * (-10) *s

0² = 400 - 20s

20s = 400

s = 20m

So, if in 2 seconds, the ball reaches 20m, so, in 1 s, it will reach 10 m.
