The percentage of the lose of energy can be calculated as under:

Initial height of the ball = 20 m

Final height of the ball = 16 m

Initial Energy of the ball = m*g*h = 20*mg

Final Energy of the ball = m*g*h = 16*mg

Loss of Energy = 4*mg

Percentage loss = 4/20 * 100

Percentage loss = 20 %

Answer:

20%

Explanation:

The percentage of the lose of energy can be calculated as under:

Initial height of the ball = 20 m

Final height of the ball = 16 m

Initial Energy of the ball = m*g*h = 20*mg

Final Energy of the ball = m*g*h = 16*mg

Loss of Energy = 4*mg

% loss = 4/20 * 100%
