A ball is released from the top of tower of height hmeter. it take t second to reach the ground .what is the position of ballin t/3 second?

If we assume the total height to be H

H=0+1/2at^2

So we will assume the situation if the ball is dropped from a height h and time taken is t and also acceleration is g

By applying Newtons 2 nd equation

h=ut +1/2at^2

u=0 as the  ball is dropped from rest

substituting the values

h=0+1/2 a T^2/9

On Comparing the values

we get height h/9 from the top and also 8h/9 form the ground.

We know that h is directly propotinal to the square of time so height becomes propotional to t^2/9 giving us height to be h/9

and height from ground 8h/9
