A ball is released from top of a tower of height h meters.it takes t seconds to reach the ground .what is the position of the ball in t/3 seconds

By the formula ,

s = ut + (1/2) at2

by replacing the values,

H = 0(T) + (1/2) (10) (T2)

H = 5T2

.

Therefore,

Position of the ball at T/3 secs = (1/2) (10)(T/3)2

=5T2 / 9 = H/9

.

Hence at T/3 secs the ball is H/9 meters from top of the tower.
