A ball is shot from ground level with an initial velocity of 25 m/s directed at an angle of 53° to the horizontal. How much time elapses before the ball strikes the ground?

t =  \frac{2 \times 25 \times sin {53}^{0} }{9.8}  \\ t =  \frac{50}{9.8} \times 0.80 =4 \: sec
