A ball is simulteniously,given two velocities:one 10m/s due east and other 20m/s due north west.Calculate the resultant velocity of the ball.
(answer it with explanation)

Resultant vector = √A^2+B^2+2ABcos theta

Here,
A = 10
B = 20
theta = 90+45 = 135°

The resultant vector
= √100+400+(2×20×10) × cos(135)
= √900 -√2/2
= 14.74 m/s
