Hi..
If both balls are thrown with same vertical speed and one from height h and another from height 2h then,
Time taken to reach the ground ∝ √(H)
[∵ T = √(2H)/g]
T1 / T2 = √(H1 / H2)
= √(h / (2h))
= 1 / √(2)
Ratio of time taken is 1 : √2
