Given, Speed of the Ball = 20 m/s.

Time taken to cover the distance = 2 second.

Let the distance covered in 2 second be x

So, by using the formula

Speed = \frac{distance}{time}

distance = speed x time

x = 20 × 2

x = 40 m.

Hence the distance covered by the ball is 40 m.

Hope it Helps :-)

Given ,
Speed of the Ball = 20 m/s .

Ball strikes the inclined along normal = 2 seconds .

To find :- distance covered in 2 seconds .

We know ,
Speed = Distance / Time .

Then , Distance = Speed × Time .

Putting the values .

Distance = 20 × 2

Distance = 40 m . (ans.)
