the answer is option A. gravitational force.
the explanation is :
when u throw any objet up in to the sky it would fall down because of the gravitational force of the earth. the earth is having  a force called gravitational force which pulls all the objects towards it. so when we throw the ball upwards know the gravitational force acts on the ball.

wwwvimalagopi: will you please explain
akhilkick: gravitational force is correct because of action of gravitational force only the ball is able to be thrown and come down. otherwise it floats due to absence gravitational force.
