A ball is thrown up in such a way that the distance travellled by it in 2nd and 3rd second are equal ,then calculate max height . (g= 10ms^2)

Explanation:

If the distance travelled in nth and (n+1)th

second by an object are equal.

=> time taken to reach h max

= n seconds

using the formula

v = u - gt

0 = u-10×2

=> u = 20m/sec

=> max height

h = ut-(1/2)gt²

= 20×2-(1/2)×10×4

= 40-20

= 20 meter

Therefore max height = 20 meter
