by taking the value of g...-10

v = u + at

0 = 30 +(-9.8)t

-30 = -10t

- 30/-10= t

3 = t

AFridiiiKhaaannn: no buddy answer showing here is t = 3sec but process isn't mention can you help me out buddy?
AFridiiiKhaaannn: thanks buddy

at highest point,
       velocity of body will be zero.
use formula,
      v = u + at
where, v is final velocity,u is initial velocity
 and t is time taken by body and a is acceleration.
  here, v = 0, u = 30m/s

a = -10 m/s²  [acceleration due to gravity ]

so, 0 = 30 + (-10)t
t =  30/10 = 3 sec

AFridiiiKhaaannn: yes I know but answer is showing 4.9N that's why I am stucked and confuse now
abhi178: yep i understand know
abhi178: because weight = mass * acceleration due to gravity
abhi178: here mass = 500gm = 0.5 kg
abhi178: acceleration due to gravity = 9.8m/s^2
AFridiiiKhaaannn: yes got it why 4.9 and not 4900 , because there is a decimal if we ignore 000 from 49000 we left with one decimal and we apply it to 49 and we get 4.9 N
abhi178: :)
AFridiiiKhaaannn: thanks for helping me out
AFridiiiKhaaannn: how did you become a moderator and how can I be become moderator , whats your way out to become?
AFridiiiKhaaannn: a body is allowed to fall from a height of 20m from the ground ,How much time will it take to reach the ground?
