A ball is thrown up with a velocity of 5 m/s. How high it will go, before it begins to fall. a= 9.8m/s^2​

Final Velocity (v) = 0 m/s

Acceleration due to gravity (g) = 9.8 m/s²

v² = u²-2gh

.... where h is the height,

0 = (5)² - (2*9.8*h)

19.6h = 25

h = 1.275 m

The Ball will rise up to a height of 1.275 m.
