If ball is thrown upward then g should be taken as negative.
so from the relationship v^2=u^2-2gh
we get
0=25-20h
or 20h=25
or h=5/4 m or 1.25 m

At max height, velocity is zero. Acceleration is maximum since there is maximum change in velocity. Acceleration is equal to acceleration due to gravity = g

A ball is thrown vertically upward. What is its instantaneous speed at its maximum height?

If a ball is thrown vertically upward and it reaches its maximum height in 3 seconds, what would its initial velocity be?

A ball is thrown upward with an initial velocity of 30 m/s. what is the maximum height that the ball will reach?

A ball thrown in vertically upward direction attains maximum height of 16 m. At what height would its velocity be half of its initial velocity...

What is the velocity of a body at the highest point when thrown vertically upward?

Final velocity of the ball at the top is zero as the ball is at rest at that time. Acceleration is constant throughout equal to -g i.e. 9.8 m/sec sec due earth's gravity.
