v*2 =u*2 + 2gh

then 0= 20*2 +2×-9.8 × h

-400 = -19.6×h

cancelling both side substation signs

400 = 19.6 × h

400/19.6 = h

h = 20.4 m

b . it becomes zero becomes it initial and final are same

c. Distance = h+h

= 20.4 + 20.4

= 40.8 m
