A ball is thrown upwards and it goes to the height of 100m and comes down .what is the net displacement? what is the net distance?

Net displacement = 0m
Net distance traveled =200m

HERE IZ UR ANSWER.

Distance is total distance travelled.It depends on path.

Displacement is shortest path.It depends on final and initial position.

So, in this case,
Ball travelled 100 m above and 100 m coming down
So total distance would be 200 m.

But final and initial position is same, so displacement will be 0.
