Answer: horizontal component of velocity remain constant throughout the flight.

Explanation:

When a body is thrown upward initially it gain height and travel horizontally and after some time start falling down keeping horizontal motion continue simultaneously.this type of motion is called as projectile motion.thus in short projectile motion is two dimensional motion under action of gravity in which body cover parabolic path also known as trajectory.keeping horizontal component of velocity remain constant throughout the flight

I hope it help u..

Explanation:

Acceleration along vertical component =−g (negative sign indicates downward direction), hence vertical component of velocity changes.

Net acceleration is not equal to zero and hence speed of the ball changes which implies kinetic energy of the ball changes.

Acceleration along horizontal = 0, hence horizontal component of velocity does not change.
