A ball is thrown upwards. During its motion - (a) both velocity and acceleration diminish. (b) velocity and acceleration increase both. (c) velocity decreases but acceleration increases. (d) the class decreases but acceleration is uniform.

answer is d bcz acceleration is uniform that is gravitational accelaration and velocity do decrease as the ball moves upward and acc. is downward so it retards the motion of ball and hence velocity decreases
