Answer:

=Using v=u+at

=Time of Flight = 2u /g

=Where u is the initial velocity and g is acceleration due to gravity

=4=  2u/10

=   u=20 ms  −1

Answer:

Answer is 20 m/s

Explanation:

Time of ascend=time of descend

so the ball will take 2 seconds in going up and 2 seconds in coming down.

v=0m/s (at the topmost height)

g=-10m/s^2(upward motion)

t=2 seconds

u=?

first equation of motion:

v=u+at

0=u+(-10*2)

0=u-20

u=20 m/s
