a ball is thrown upwards with a velocity of 10m/s.find the maximum height reached by the ball and the time taken to come back to the thrower (g=10 m/s square)

v=0

g=10m/s²

a= -10m/s²

t=  \frac{v - u}{a}  \\  =  \frac{0 - 10}{ - 10}  \\  =  \frac{ - 10}{ - 10}  \\  =  1 \\ t = 1sec

v²-u²=2ah

=>(0)²-(10)²=2×(-10)×h

=> -100= -20h

=>h = -100/-20=5m
