The height attained by ball and time taken by it to reach the highest point is 5 meters and 1 second respectively.

Given,
u ( initial velocity) = 10m/s
and at the highest point, v = 0
from v^2-u^2 = 2gh
=> 0 - 10^2 = 2* -10 * h
=> h = -100/-20 = 5m
From v = u + gt
=> 0 = 10 + (-10)*t
=> t = 1s
