Given,

u ( initial velocity) = 10m/s

and at the highest point, v = 0

from v^2-u^2 = 2gh

=> 0 - 10^2 = 2* -10 * h

=> h = -100/-20 = 5m

From v = u + gt

=> 0 = 10 + (-10)*t

=> t = 1s
