s = ut + 1/2 gt^2

= 0m/s * 2s + 1/2 * 9.8m/s^2 * ( 2 )^2s

= 1/2 * 9.8m/s^2 * 4s

= 4.9 * 4 m

= 19.6m

By the equation of motion;

s = ut + 1/2 at²

s = 0x2 + 1/2x-9.8x2x2

s = -9.8 x 2

By convention it is 19.6 metres.
