Do your own home work. I’ll let you know that the trick of the question is to realize that the ball should be assumed to rise and fall at the same rate, and that the time where it’s falling is half the total time.

For extra credit, assume that the thrower released the ball when it was two meters above the ground: the teacher probably wants you to ignore that, but once you solve it one way, you can back into solving it the other.
