A ball is thrown vertically
upward from the foot of a
10m high tower with such
initial velocity that
it may just reach to its top.
What was the initial velocity
of the ball? (g=9.8 m/s²)

Explanation:

as we know given

g=9.8m/s^2

s=10m

so u=?

then as we know

v=o

hence v^2=u^2+2as

third law

so

0=u^2-2gs

u^2=2gs

u^2=2*9.8*10

u^2=2*98

u^2=196

and u=14m/s
